Ukrainian Deminers Association Project – “Online Safety”

Ukrainian Deminers Association has moved to the 2nd stage of the project “Practical Training Module “Online Safety” – integration into school program within Ukrainian School Reform”.

The purpose of the project is to improve the level of qualification of pedagogical staff on information security and further transfer of the training course to the institutes of advanced training.

As part of this, a working meeting of the Ukrainian Deminers Association project management team with the representatives of the US Embassy was held in the association’s office. During the meeting, certified Cyber Hygiene Instructor Alla Hliebova presented the newly created manual “Online Safety” and the head of the organization demonstrated the work of a  new training platform “Online Safety”. During the conversation, the further steps of the project implementation and prospects for its development in the framework of promoting the reform of education and science of Ukraine were discussed.

The knowledge and skills acquired by teachers will enable them to inform schoolchildren about online safety. The course is designed for 30 hours of online training. All a teacher needs are to register at the link: https://onlinesafety.web.app/ and take an online course at a time convenient for them. All teachers that successfully complete the course will receive a certificate (generated automatically) and the necessary educational and methodological literature. After the successful implementation of the pilot project, the training course will be sent to the Institute for Modernization of Educational Content.

Training will begin on December 15, 2021. The number of teachers who will have access to education is 240. So do not delay, please start registration on December 15.
