АСУ, together with its partners Save the Children in Ukraine and with the support of Danida, has successfully completed a large-scale project aimed at strengthening community safety and supporting people affected by the consequences of war. The results were discussed during a Lessons Learned Workshop.
The project covered the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, and Kharkiv regions. All planned indicators were achieved at 100%.
🔹 Support for mine victims
278 people received comprehensive assistance:
• financial aid — 278 individuals;
• legal support — 32 individuals;
• psychological support — 10 individuals.
🔹 Humanitarian demining
As part of the project, 10,000 sq. m of land in communities of the Dnipropetrovsk region were cleared of explosive hazards.
🔹 Mine Risk Education (EORE)
Community residents received training on how to act in case of discovering explosive objects, which is critically important for saving lives in contaminated areas.
🔹 Quest “Unbroken: Mission – A Safe Country”
To mark the International Day for Mine Awareness, an interactive quest was held in Kyiv and Mykolaiv, engaging around 700 participants.
The completion of this project is another step toward a safer future for Ukraine. Cleared territories are being returned to use, and people are receiving support to rebuild their lives.
We sincerely thank Save the Children and Danida for their trust and support.
Together, we will make Ukraine safer. 🖤💛
