On October 5, 2020, the online training course Mine Risk Education for secondary school teachers will start. Class teachers of 5-11 grades from 5 cities of Ukraine: Kramatorsk, Mariupol, Severodonetsk, Dnipro and Kyiv have already been determined, to start training within the framework of a pilot project of the Ukrainian Deminers Association’s “Mine Risk Education for Ukrainian Public Schools (age 12-18) – Train the Teacher on Mine Safety”.
It is symbolic that the beginning of the training course takes place after the celebration of Teacher’s Day in Ukraine. The Ukrainian Deminers Association sincerely congratulates all teachers on their professional holiday.
The training platform was developed by the Ukrainian IT company Front & Back. The training platform will be used through the official website of the Association. The project also includes American partners: Spilna Mova, a company that conducts grant monitoring and is responsible for international cooperation on the grant task; Risk and Security Management helps create educational videos. We thank our partners for their contribution and hope that the fruitful cooperation in the future.
