UDA Agreement with the World Food Programme

On February 26 in Warsaw and March 1–3 in Lviv, representatives of the Ukrainian Deminers Association (UDA) took part in the first ANZ Ukraine Forum 2026.

The forum brought together experts, partners, and colleagues from Australia, New Zealand, and Ukraine to discuss cooperation and support for Ukraine’s recovery.

During the event, the UDA team presented the report “Beyond Demining: How Humanitarian Mine Action Enables Ukraine’s Recovery, Investment, and Resilience.”

We spoke about how humanitarian mine action is much more than land clearance. It is a critical prerequisite for community recovery, the return of economic activity, and the development of various sectors.

The first results of the forum followed shortly after. Recently, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed with Mahi For Ukraine — a New Zealand civic initiative that unites people in support of Ukraine.

We hope this Memorandum will soon lead to practical joint initiatives and projects.
