📍 The 22nd International Mine Action 2026 Symposium has started in Split, Croatia — one of the key global platforms in the field of mine action.
Among the delegates are representatives of the Ukrainian Deminers Association (UDA), who joined discussions on modern demining approaches, the implementation of new technologies, and strengthening international coordination.
Special attention during the event has been given to Ukraine, its achievements, challenges, and current needs in the field of mine action amid the full-scale war.
This year, UDA presented two presentations at the Symposium. The first, together with the Hrvatska Pomaže initiative, focused on our joint project and was presented by Project Manager Yuliia Nikolaienko. The second, delivered in partnership with MAG Ukraine, highlighted the MAG–UDA strategic partnership and was presented by the organization’s Head, Tymur Pistriuga.
For UDA, participation in the Symposium is an opportunity to present Ukrainian experience, learn from international best practices, and strengthen partnerships for a safer Ukraine 🖤💛
