Кавер: підсумки діяльності АСУ за 2024

Summary of the organization’s activities for 2024

2024 became a year of change and achievement for the Ukrainian Deminers Association! We implemented large-scale humanitarian projects, launched the biggest humanitarian demining project in our history, certified new areas of work, and cleared territories from explosive remnants of war across 5 regions of Ukraine.

We trained a record number of people in mine risk awareness, introduced inclusive approaches, created innovative materials to raise public awareness, and provided assistance to mine victims.

In addition, we actively contributed to legislative initiatives, represented Ukraine at international events, and even carried out a full rebranding of the organization.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to these changes! Together, we are making Ukraine safer.

Record set by the “UDA” NGO

A great recognition of the effectiveness of our organization’s work from the National Register of Records of Ukraine — the Ukrainian Deminers Association has officially set a record for conducting the largest mine risk education (EORE) training campaign for the population of Ukraine!

An official representative of the National Register of Records of Ukraine visited the UDA office and ceremonially presented the record certificate to the Chairman of the Board, Tymur Pistriuga, and the Head of the Mine Risk Education Department, Serhii Chutkyi.

And it is not only about the number of safety events conducted: throughout the year, more than 7,000 live mine safety sessions were delivered to civilians in the regions most affected by the war in Ukraine, reaching over 190,000 people. We made every effort to engage different groups of the population, including people with various types of disabilities.
