From the beginning of the large-scale invasion of the russian federation until August 2025, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights recorded 48,957 casualties among the civilian population from explosive ordnance.
The real number of victims, unfortunately, is much higher. Therefore, we urge Ukrainians to be extremely careful!
Main Activities of the Organization
Humanitarian Mine Action in Ukraine
We participate in all components of humanitarian mine action in Ukraine. We will carry out humanitarian demining activities in Eastern Ukraine in accordance with IMAS and national standards
Help with legal protection of deminers
Representation and protection of the Organization member’s interests in governmental and non-governmental institutions
Participation in the lawmaking processes of mine action
Promoting the improvement of the Laws of Ukraine aimed at protecting the interests of sappers and members of their families
Providing assistance to mine / explosives victims
Promoting the provision of quality medical care to victims of professional activities, including psychological, both in Ukraine and abroad
Public control over the mine action in Ukraine
Participation and assistance in completing a database of territories, affected by mines and other explosive remnants of war
Organization of trainings and assistance in employment of deminers
Development and implementation of training programs for the mine risk instructors, other MA specialists and their certification. Including control over the provision of appropriate working conditions and compulsory insurance
